What are the responsibilities and job description for the SWD Operator position at Gravity?
SWD (Salt Water Disposal) Operators are responsible for the day to day operations of saltwater disposal wells. Provide on-site testing and troubleshooting of materials and make recommendations concerning QA/Qc procedures and processes. $21 - $28 Hourly; depends on experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Works with ethics, honesty, values and integrity. Provides a position of professionalism to others.
• Performs field operations related to produced water gathering pipelines and disposal wells.
• Analyzes and reports on leak detection alarms to ensure compliance and safety.
• Supervises contract pumpers.
• Ensures the weekly, monthly and quarterly preventative maintenance on SWDs is completed.
• Performs line locates to identify our underground infrastructure during nearby excavation.
• May be required to assist on locations if an issue arises.
• Communicates test results to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains all records related to job function and fluid reporting and analysis.
• Fosters a positive working relationship with co-workers, customers, clients and management.
• Completes all safety and equipment related trainings required on a monthly basis.
• Any other duty, responsibility or task as assigned by the supervisor.
