Manager, A&E Integration

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

• Act as mentor to support Gray Architects and Engineers related to activities including but not limited to: facility programing and design, hygienic design and construction practices, food safety, and good manufacturing practices.
• Responsible for the management of food safety risks during project proposal and through detailed design and project execution.
• Prepares information regarding the identification and management of Food Safety risks associated with the project.
• Provide research regarding the project design, along with applicable code and Food Safety regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for the oversight of the layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for customer review and approval.
• Participates in presentation(s) and leads the concept development dialogue with appropriate presentation materials.
• Leads the development of design solutions for major proposal offerings and participates in strategic sales opportunities.
• Participate in customer meetings to support the project team.
• Monitor project design activities to assure compliance with Food Safety guidelines.
• Provide design oversight, technical guidance and building code review assistance to Design Managers for projects.
• Monitor projects to assure Gray Food and Beverage standards are followed.
• Integrates work between other Gray family of companies within the food and beverage market.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Who we want… (Requirements)

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and a minimum ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail.
• May also require working knowledge of drafting and/or design software and applications.
• Must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an Architecture License, Professional Engineering License, or related licenses/certifications.
