Job Summary/Description:  

A fantastic opportunity awaits at the top media outlet in the “#1 City in the World”- Charleston SC. WCSC-TV (CBS) is looking for a Senior Multimedia Sales Consultant to join a record-setting and digital-forward Sales team. Ideal candidates should have 5 years of broadcast sales experience and a proven track record of developing and selling broadcast and digital solutions for new and existing customers. Experience with Nielsen and Comscore audience measurement is a must. Experience with Wide Orbit, Matrix, and Google Analytics a PLUS.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Build, present, sell, and execute cross-platform advertising campaigns
• Create client recaps, demonstrating delivery and effectiveness of advertising campaigns
• Grow existing linear and digital accounts
• Prospect and sell new business with market-leading linear and digital products
• Work collaboratively with other departments and within a sales team on station projects

Qualifications/Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of broadcast television sales experience
• Customer-service oriented, self-motivated, and possess a strong local network
• Excellent technical knowledge & outstanding written and verbal presentation skills
• An intense desire to succeed in a commission-based sales environment
• Must have a good driving record
