Revenue Analyst

Grayshift is looking for a Revenue Analyst who will work as a critical piece of a growing Finance function. The position will work cross functionally to support the business through calculation and reporting of revenue and revenue metrics. This is a highly visible role within the Finance organization.  We are seeking a self-starter who is detail oriented with a high level of integrity and works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

This position is remote.

Responsibilities:

• Calculate, monitor, and report on Bookings, Revenue and Annual Recurring Revenue on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Create reports and dashboards to measure and report on key revenue metrics, and perform deep analyses on the leading, in-process, and lagging indicators to support the revenue organization.
• Build and modify financial forecasting models.

• Create and assist in preparing month-end presentations and board materials for leadership using PowerPoint.

• Book month-end revenue journal entries and reconcile deferred revenue.
• Assist in financial reviews of the company’s performance for the Finance team, CFO, and others as needed.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing to ensure smooth operation of the business and consistent achievement of growth goals.
• Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of data quality, accuracy, and process consistency across all functions.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years working in Accounting and/or Finance experience with working knowledge of ASC606 required;
• Bachelor’s Degree in, Accounting, Finance or Business-related field;
• Proactive self-starter, with the ability to thrive in environments with multiple cross-functional stakeholders with varying priorities;
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to look outside the box to see how items coordinate or link together;
• Advanced Excel skills and experience analyzing complex data sets;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other financial software applications;
• Knowledge of Salesforce and Sage Intaact preferred;
• Deadline-driven, organized, and able to multi-task with the willingness to adapt to the organizational demands that result from a startup environment;

• Minimal travel required.

• Compensation includes base salary and bonus;
