Key Responsibilities:
Software Project Management:
- Lead the full software development lifecycle for production projects.
- Plan software releases and manage content to align with customer delivery schedules.
- Negotiate software release schedules, deliverables, and costs with OEMs and vendors.
- Ensure adherence to ASPICE and ISO26262 standards across all software changes and development plans.
- Oversee ISO 26262 functional safety work products, including Hazard Metric Testing and DFMEA.
- Develop regional system and software processes.
- Integrate HIL testing into the software/system release workflow.
- Facilitate production launch activities within the region.
Personnel Management:
- Direct software development resources, task assignments, and personnel prioritization.
- Recruit and train candidates for customer project support.
- Develop local team expertise in SW application for safety-critical systems.
- Utilize cost-effective global resources to bolster local SW development.
- Enhance local competencies across the entire SW Development Life Cycle.
- Foster employee growth in EPS system/software engineering, including ADAS and autonomous vehicle development.
Pursuit and Business Development:
- Innovate next-gen projects for R&D and business pursuit initiatives.
- Advance AUTOSAR and Cyber-Security applications in Electric Power Steering projects.
- Develop Driver Assist Features/Functions, including Autonomous Driving and Traffic Jam Assist.
- Define OTA Flashing specifications for remote system updates.
- Prepare software applications to showcase redundant steering systems for Highly Automated Vehicles (HAV).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 5 years in full life-cycle embedded software development within safety-critical automotive systems.
- Proficiency in Embedded C programming and Matlab/Simulink.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project for Project/Resource Management and Planning.
- Experience with Configuration and Requirements Management tools (PTC, ClearCase, ClearQuest, DOORS, etc.).
- Proven track record with microcontrollers (Tricore, Freescale, etc.) and communication protocols/tools (CANalyzer, CANape, etc.).
- Vehicle Debug and analysis expertise, along with ASPICE and ISO26262 standards knowledge.
- Preferred knowledge of AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and cybersecurity methodologies.
Compensation:
Annual Salary: $120,000 - $135,000
