Position Summary:

We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Custodian. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The custodian cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

Essential Functions:

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with State/Federal and Great Expectations Cleaning Solutions policies and regulations.
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to protect the safety and health of others by following company protocols including building security.
• Properly cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment.
• Cleaning all assigned areas to Great Expectations Cleaning Solution and client standards and requirements. Assigned area(s) include but not limited to rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, kitchen, breakrooms and windows.
• Cleans include but not limited to Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming floors, remove debris, clean spills, dust furniture, equipment, fixtures, shelves and products as expected. Clean windows and mirrored surfaces: polish stainless steel surfaces. Ensure all supplies are properly stocked in areas needed.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport to designated areas.
• Perform any additional duties as directed by management.
• Manage Routine upkeep of exterior area when needed or as directed by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous custodial experience preferred but not required
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling greater than 45 lbs.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching below the waist and above the head
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision and together with a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must pass Background Check & Drug Testing
