POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the GF Clinic Healthcare Delivery System/Network, to include the Great Falls Clinic and Great Falls Clinic Hospital. Responsible for Treasury and Controllership functions, financial management responsibilities, preparing/presenting financial reports, Corporate Finance policy implementation. Gives direction, provides oversight, and evaluates work of Accounting staff. Directly oversee Accounting, Payroll, and Accounts Payable.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or similar degree, required.
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of five years of relevant Hospital or Clinic experience, along with three years supervisory experience. Public accounting experience (auditing healthcare clients) can substitute for a portion of the required Hospital or Clinic experience.
• Experience in a for-profit setting, preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

CPA or Certified Healthcare Professional (CHFP), preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.)
• Experience with financial accounting systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation. Attention to detail and well organized.
• Possess strong analytical skills in hospital/clinic accounting and finance.
• Ability to analyze volume and charge trends to assure appropriate charges are captured and correct reimbursement is received.
• Must be skilled at interpreting the abstract pieces of financial analysis and performance; preparing schedules and reports; manipulating data.
