POSITION OVERVIEW
The Patient Financial Coordinator will maximize health insurance benefits, reduce economic barriers to care and accurately explain insurance coverage, specifically around drug treatment. This position will aim to improve and maximize the revenue capture of the Great Falls Clinic Cancer Center by educating and enrolling oncology patients into patient assistant programs that reduce patients' out-of-pocket expenses and ensuring prior authorizations for all drug treatments are confirmed prior to treatment start. The Navigator will research and enroll eligible patients into financial assistance programs from all available internal and external resources, including but not limited to: copay assistance programs for IV and oral drugs, drug replacement programs, grants from national oncology foundations, as well as local and community.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or Equivalent, required.
EXPERIENCE
One-year work experience, preferably in medical office setting.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.

Salary : $28,000 - $35,500
