What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Interventionist position at Great Kids & Awesome Adults?
Great Kids & Awesome Adults is an established Early Intervention company that serves many areas throughout South Carolina. We are rapidly growing and accepting qualified applicants!
Early Interventionists are expected to maintain a caseload in their designated area where they will provide in-home Family Training and Service Coordination to children ages Birth to 6 on a weekly basis. Early Interventionists will also conduct assessments (FSP/IFSP) to determine the child's needs and work in collaboration with the family, pediatrician, teachers, etc to coordinate services.

Training and pay:
Great Kids & Awesome Adults offers a 3-month training period.
During Training:
During training, there is a clock in and out system for any time worked which includes travel time, interactive training time, and independent training time at $17.10/hour. Although new hires are not entitled to PTO and Paid Holidays during training, they still are accruing PTO and will be eligible upon completion of training. PTO is accrued based on length of employment. Annually, team members are eligible for 2 weeks of PTO and 7 paid Holidays, once out of training.
Out of Training:
The base salary is $35,568 ONCE OUT OF TRAINING (this is based on 40-hour work week which includes travel time, billable time, and non-billable time); however, all team members are eligible for $40/month ($480/yr) as a home-office supply stipend, up to $250/month ($3000/yr) as monthly bonuses, and up to $250/month ($3000/yr) as travel reimbursement which is calculated based on tracked mileage through our Trip Log APP. With these additional compensation amounts, they could earn up to $42,048 annually.
80 Minimum Billable Hours/Month is required (4 billable hours/day, the remainder is assumed travel time and non-billable tasks). Bonuses are set at 10% ($125/month) and 20% (an additional $125/month) over minimum requirement.
Pay is non-negotiable.
Qualifications:
MUST have specific degree from the list below in order to be considered. Special Education or experience with children ages 0-3 preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree in: Child/Human Development; Education: Early Childhood; Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or Elementary Education; Family and Consumer Sciences; Psychology; Public Health; Social Work; Sociology; Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts to include the following: Physician, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Independent Social Worker, Licensed Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Licensed Doctor of Osteopath, Licensed Professional Counselor (Master’s and Doctoral Level only), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Physician’s Assistant, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Speech Language Pathologist, Licensed Audiologist, Licensed Physical Therapist, Licensed Occupational Therapist.
