What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grill Assembler Livonia, MI (Part-Time) position at Great Lakes Ace?
Grill Assemblers are responsible for assembling customer and store display grills correctly and efficiently, as well as select furniture sets. Delivery Helpers are responsible for assisting Delivery Drivers delivery orders to the Customer's specified location.
We are looking for additional support as demand increases this spring and summer. Candidates may start as soon as available.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional responsibilities will be assigned by the Service Center Manager
Ensure items are assembled according to the manufacturer directions
- Perform a minimum daily assembly output as provided by the Service Center Manager
- Report any defects or damages of any parts immediately to the Service Center Manager
- Maintain a clean and safe work space and environment
- Properly dispose of all waste accumulated during the assembly process
- Perform professionally and effectively when interacting with Customers and Store Associates
- Use equipment properly to ensure the safety of all Service Center team members
- Follow delivery processes to ensure Customer expectations are met and/or exceeded
- Assist the Delivery Driver execute the placement of delivery items as specified by the Customer
- Report all customer satisfaction issues to the Service Center Manager
- Must be able to communicate effectively, get along with co-workers, customers, and supervisors

A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required in addition with the ability to work a flexible schedule
