Service Coordinator

The primary duties of a Yard Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of our outdoor inventory and storage areas. You will be responsible for managing the flow of equipment, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the yard. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our customers receive efficient service and that our dealership presents a professional and organized appearance. The essential job functions include, but are not limited to the responsibilities listed below.

• Inventory Management:
• Oversee the organization and arrangement of tractors and equipment in the yard.
• Coordinate with the sales and service departments to ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with reconciling any discrepancies.

• Customer Service:
• Assist customers in locating specific equipment within the yard.
• Provide information about available inventory and assist with inquiries as needed.
• Ensure a positive customer experience by maintaining a clean and organized yard environment.

• Logistics Coordination:
• Coordinate the movement of equipment within the yard, including receiving new shipments and preparing items for delivery.
• Schedule and oversee the loading and unloading of equipment onto trucks for transport.
• Communicate effectively with delivery drivers and other personnel to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

• Maintenance and Safety:
• Conduct regular inspections of the yard to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any issues promptly.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of equipment movements, including arrivals, departures, and transfers.
• Generate reports on yard activities, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics as required.
• Assist with documenting any incidents or damages involving equipment in the yard.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
