Job Description
Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Cardiac/ Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI), Vascular, Hemodynamic Monitoring, Endocrine, Renal, Pulmonary, and provides end of life care to patients with a variety of diagnoses. Patient care will be provided to pediatric and adult patients. Care will be provided in patient’s home, nursing home, and or assisted living.
Qualifications
Required:
Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration
Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Must have valid drivers license
Preferred
Prefer Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Certification
Prefer minimum of one year acute care hospital experience
