The company is headquartered in Irvine, CA and currently has operations in Fontana, CA; Albuquerque, NM; Grants Pass, OR, Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Dearborn, MI; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; and Salt Lake City, UT. GWT is seeking expansion into other sites in its current footprint, as well as into other cities across the country.


Summary 

GWT currently seeks a well-qualified full-time Parts Sales and Back Counter Coordinator to help the company drive positive growth in our Parts and Service Departments.  This role will help increase parts sales by selling parts over the counter at the branch location, create new customer relationships, and maintain existing ones. Additionally, this role will assist in inventory control by issuing parts to the mechanics on the shop floor.  The ideal person for this job will be someone who can generate parts sales by engaging our current customer base, selling parts to walk in customers at the front counter, as well as reach out to potential new customers in order to bring in new business.  This person will also have the ability to process parts requests from the mechanics on the shop floor, pull those parts from the parts room and ensure those parts get properly applied to the correct repair order. 

This role is based in Grants Pass, OR. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Staff the front parts counter and process over the counter sales, receive payments through various methods and process correctly. 
  • Deliver parts to customers occasionally as needed. 
  • Shipping and receiving 
  • Process back counter requests from the service team.  Ensuring all parts that go out to the shop floor make it onto repair orders and get charged on the repair orders. 
  • Assist the parts Manager in monitoring stock levels and making sure they are properly maintained. 
  • Assist Parts manager in all sales and inventory management functions. 

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience 
  • Knowledge of trailer parts preferred. 
  • Basic computer skills.  (Proficient in MS office suite preferred) 
  • Experience in the use of a dealer management system (Karmak Fusion preferred) 
  • Excellent organizational skills especially applied toward customer follow up. 
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable networking within the company to learn and problem solve. 
  • High school diploma or GED; further education will be a plus. 
  • Service Writing HUGE PLUS 
  • Mechanical Knowledge HUGE PLUS 
  • Valid Driver’s License required with a clean driving record

Schedule: 

  • 8-hour shift

Experience:

  • Trailer industry: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Inventory: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Sales: 5 year (Preferred)
  • MS Office: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Karmak Fusion: huge plus.
