SUMMARY
The role of the Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for receiving inquiries, sourcing materials and solutions and promptly and accurately getting a quote back to customer. In this role you will be required to interact with the customers directly, the outside sales persons and facility productions personnel to complete the quotations and support the service work.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Degree preferred or 4 years’ experience in Valve customer service
- Prior valve experience
QUALIFICATIONS
Possess skills in the following areas:
- Able to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of valve terminology
- Ability to assimilate information quickly
- Proven inside sales experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Displays flexibility in hours and has a history of dependability and reliability
- Familiar with Microsoft applications
- Negotiation skills
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Review customer specifications and produce quality quotations for service work in a quick and timely manner
· Interact with suppliers on equipment requirements and delivery schedules to meet deadlines
· Input information into company business system for quotes and orders
· Interact with outside sales force on customer expectations and quote/order status
