Description

ALTOONA AQUATICS PARK SUMMER 2024

Altoona Campus Aquatics is currently accepting applications for part-time seasonal positions.

15 - 25 hours per week.

Experience preferred, but we will train the ideal candidate.

 

FRONT DESK AND CONCESSION STAND

  • Both positions are at our outdoor facility and run from about mid-May to late August.
  • Would be best suited to those who are reliable and can schedule their day around the hours.
  • Eligible for the Altoona Campus employee membership discount during the summer months only.

 

Position #1 Front Desk/Customer Service Representative

Initiates and follows up with members to sell Aquatic Park passes/general admission, helps to resolve problems, answers questions, and completes daily sales reports. Learn and use sales software.

 

Position #2 Concession Stand

Responsible for preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served, complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards, following established food procedures, and appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste and fraud.

  • Be responsible, professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to the safety of the community.
  • Patience and tolerance are extremely important when dealing with people.
  • Strong leadership qualities and motivation of self and others are the most valuable asset.
  • Have excellent communication, and public relations skills.
  • Display self-control, self-discipline, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrate effective administrative and organizational skills.

 

The Altoona Aquatics Park hours are still to be determined, but could fall around these times:

Monday-Friday 12pm 6pm Saturday and Sunday 11am - 6pm
