The Basics of a Branch Manager:
- Hours: (Exempt - May Vary): 8:00 am -4:30 pm; F: 8 am - 5 pm; Rotating Sat: 8:45 am - 1:30 pm.
- After hours and weekend community related activities as need for business purposes.
What you'll do as a Branch Manager:
- Attract, coach, and engage assigned staff through servant leadership and continuous coaching.
- Drive branch performance through a relationship-based sales model focused on a top tier member experience and increasing share of wallet.
- In collaboration with Area Manager or AVP, assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
- Oversee all areas of branch operations including member relations, branch security, cash management, ATM and Vault operations, supervisor overrides, regulatory compliance, time keeping, and leave management.
- Ensure the assigned branch is adequately staffed with the support of Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development, with qualified, well-trained personnel.
- Provide adequate and ongoing training to branch personnel.
- Reinforce the Credit Union’s mission, vision, and values by serving as a culture agent, motivating employees to achieve higher standards, and promoting a commitment to excellence in service, and technology-driven products and processes.
- Support community involvement initiatives both during work hours, after hours and on weekends.
- Serve on a volunteer board in the local community that drives strategic growth of the credit union brand and furthers your personal professional growth.
Qualifications
Must Haves as a Branch Manager:
- 2 years supervisory experience in a credit union or bank.
- HS Diploma/GED
- Business Development, Coaching & Upskilling, Problem Solving, Verbal & Written Communication, Servant Leadership.
- Should be willing/able to attend after hours and weekend community related activities as required.
Nice to Haves as a Branch Manager:
- Associates degree or 60 college hours in business related field.
- Knowledge of investments and loan products
- Bilingual (Spanish).
