What you’ll do:
- Finance lead in client/vendor onboarding for all new accounts for the agency, including account set up in accounting system and gathering relevant financial documentation.
- Prepare and support calculation of revenue recognition and accrued expenses in conjunction with the accounting team for the month-end close.
- Manage AP processes and procedures, including reconciling and processing all vendor invoices and credit card statements, manage correspondence in vendor AP mailbox, and preparation of 1099s for non-employee compensation.
- Review travel and entertainment expense reports for proper coding, backup, and adherence to company guidelines.
- Oversee monthly maintenance of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Work in Progress.
- Develop innovative ideas to streamline operational processes and efficacy of financial reporting.
- Coordinate and assist in the preparation of monthly revenue by client forecast with the Project Management team.
- Review and analyze monthly P&L and provide commentary vs. prior periods.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budget(s), quarterly forecasts, and management presentations.
- Support senior finance staff with utilization reporting, revenue projections, profitability, and capacity analysis.
- Assist with updating executive level summaries for presentations and business review.
What’s required:
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
- 1 year of experience in a financial operations role, with accounting and analysis responsibilities. Media experience is preferred.
- Experience with Accountability and Mediaocean is a plus.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 varying on experience, skillset, and/or education.
