Our Coremakers operate isocure coremaking machines and perform core finishing operations to produce cores for molding operations. This position produces quality work, service, and detail, and extends fair treatment to all Grede employees and customers. You'll exercise the highest level of care to protect the environment by supporting ethical operating procedures and taking necessary actions to minimize delay time and increase production.

What You'll Do:
- Set up, operate, and perform routine adjustments to coremaking machine
- Install and remove core boxes from the coremaking machine
- Complete or enter weight records and core process information
- Monitor the quality of cores and tooling during the production run and notify supervisor of any quality, mechanical, or delay problems
- Remove cores from the box, clean, drill, dip, glue and assemble as required
- Place and stack cores in appropriate rack, storage container, or conveyor

- Must be able to physically perform all tasks, which include standing, walking, bending, and lifting fifty pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to operate all tools and powered overhead cranes
- Must be trained in all safety requirements, including, hazard recognition, PPE requirements and use, and any other safety requirements for employment
