Role Overview: Green Chimneys is a multi-faceted nonprofit organization helping young people to maximize their full potential. Green Chimneys is home to over 300 farm animals, horses and unreleasable wildlife. Within this setting, the Maintenance department is hiring for full-time and per diem roles. The Maintenance Worker maintains a safe and clean work area, works cooperatively with all departments, may be asked to supervise and work with residential students or other employees, assists with snow removal, material pickups and other requests as needed. Must have ability to work independently as well as knowledge of any of these skills: electric, plumbing, drywall repair, masonry work, carpentry and grounds keeping. This position includes a schedule of Tuesday through Saturday.
High School or Trade/Vocational School diploma required. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Looking for a skilled candidate in more than 2 trades with aptitude in other.
Hourly Rate: $14.51 to $19.35 depending on level of skills.
