Green Garden Child Development Center is seeking an experienced Child Care Center Director to lead, manage, and care for one of our seven campuses. • Leading all day-to-day Administrative Operations of a Campus.
• Connecting with All Classes, Teachers, Assistants, and Staff Every Day.
• Being Knowledgeable and Capable of Maintaining State of Michigan Licensing Compliance.
• Inspiring Your Team to Ensure Every Aspect of Our Green Garden Program is Experienced by Every Student and Provide Feedback and Support for Change When Needed.
• Having a Strong Focus on Leadership Through Example in Attendance, Attitude, Passion, and Performance.
• Providing Care and Leadership to all Team Members including Connecting, Coaching, and Mentoring.
• Recognizing and Creating Development Plans for Each Team Member to Provide Professional Growth.
• Being the Face and Administrator of Family and Student Recruiting, Enrollment, Orientation, and Retention.
• Planning Seasonal Special Events for our community-involved Childcare Center and Occasional Company Wide Engagement.
• Sharing in the Vision, Growth, and Development of Green Garden in its Passion to Provide the Best Quality Care for a Growing Number of Kids in Metro Detroit.

What You Need to Come With:

• Certified and Qualified to be a Childcare Center Director under the State of Michigan Licensing Requirements
• Understanding and an Ability to Lead within the High Scope Early Childhood Curriculum & Philosophy
• Proven experience as a Leader, Early Childhood Educator and Caregiver
• Thorough knowledge of Michigan Licensing Regulations and Quality Standards
• Procare and Brightwheel Experience is a Plus!
• Excellent Organizational and Administrative Skills
• Aptitude in Creative Problem-Solving
• Must have the Skill Set to work in a Fast-Paced Environment with Frequent Interruptions.

(b) Bachelor's degree/higher in a child-related field w/ 18 semester hours in early childhood education or child development and 480 hours of experience.
(c) Montessori credential with 18 semester hours in early childhood education or child development and 480 hours of experience.
(d) Associate's degree in early childhood education or child development with 18 semester hours in early childhood education or child development and 480 hours of experience.
(e) Valid child development associate credential with 18 semester hours in early childhood education or child development and 960 hours of experience.
(f) 60 semester hours with 18 semester hours in early childhood education or child development and 1920 hours of experience.
