GGG- Green Growth Group, a division of MariMed Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager for our brand-new cannabis cultivation, production and processing facility in Illinois!

SUMMARY: TheFacilities Manager executes company objectives by managing the general grounds & building, environmental systems, and the equipment/machinery maintenance departments. This position works closely with management and other members of the company to establish short and long-term goals, plans and strategies for the overall maintenance of the operation. He/she will oversee and be responsible for all aspects of facilities including general subcontractor relations, garden & production environments, overall building and equipment maintenance, execute preventative maintenance program, and maintain equipment parts inventory. Furthermore, maintains regulatory compliance that adheres to the regulations established by the state.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Completes overall facility maintenance plan by managing staff in accomplishing set action items, establishing priorities, monitoring task progress, revising employee schedules, initiating corrective action, resolving problems, and reporting the results.
- Satisfies and completes facility preventative maintenance plan via computerized maintenance management software.
- The Facilities Manager will hire, develop, coach, and appraise all staff regarding their job performance. Furthermore, uphold facilities job results by scheduling and conducting weekly meetings to track issues, project statuses, and performance metrics.
- Responsible for maintaining proper functionality of all systems that control & monitor environmental systems and machines/equipment used in manufacturing.
- Creates and revises systems and processes by analyzing building operations, building equipment, employee workflow processes, record-keeping systems, personnel requirements, as well as executes policy changes as directed by upper management.
- Assist subcontractors, state and local regulators, and visitors with escort throughout building and information requests relative to facilities.
- Upholds food safety & quality policy, GMP standards, and implements conscientious IPM regiment within the facilities department to reduce risks facility wide.
- Supports building operations by maintaining adequate inventories of equipment parts, tools, and supplies.
- Additional duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or Equivalent
- Knowledgeable of controlled environmental systems and maintenance programs
- Minimum of (3) three years of cannabis industry specific facilities management.
- Implementation and oversight of a company’s preventative maintenance program
- Proven ability to drive quality work order completion, analyze and address MEP components at a high level, identify trends in environmental data and react quickly to the needs of Operations.
- Ability to diagnose and address complex issues specific to HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical
- Proficient in windows - based software such as Office 365: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, OneDrive
- Must be 21 or older
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check annually

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and push/pull up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to perform the following physical tasks: Periods of prolonged sitting and standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
- Must be comfortable working at heights and on ladders
- On call for emergencies and some situations demand that work be completed on weekends and holidays depending on legal requirements, circumstance, and severity of outcome
* Starting salary of $60,000 per year with potential for more depending on experience.
