The Relationship Service Associate serves as an assistant for various clients serviced by the Director of the Retirement Plan Division and Relationship Managers. Responsible for administrative support and coordinating the efforts and workflow of the Director of RPD and the Relationship Management Team while providing service to external clients and co-workers. Performs administrative duties in support of various clients of Greenleaf Trust. Individuals are responsible for daily independent decisions related to servicing clients.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Provide administrative support for the Director of the Retirement Plan Division and Relationship Managers
Work closely with RPD and Client Centric Team members to support client needs.
Create positive relationships with external clients, third-party vendors, and co-workers.
Decision-making ability to problem solve and manage workflow efficiently.
Collect and update information from external client accounts (brokerage accounts, insurance companies)
Prepare business letters and various other forms of written communications.
Maintain CRM system information by filing documents in client files and making entries when client contact is made.
Support the Client Centric Team by initiating transactions in client accounts including deposits and disbursements.
Assist in managing the prospect-to-client lifecycle process to ensure all steps are completed.
Maintain schedule of client meeting preferences, schedule client meetings, assist in the preparation of meeting materials, host post-meeting-meetings to understand the necessary follow-up tasks and assign due dates and responsible parties.
Prepare and ensure completion of client documentation necessary to meet policy requirements including prepping for monthly Trust Committee Meetings.
Assist with responses to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) from prospective clients.
Receive updates to pensioner accounts and record changes in the Trust system.
Acquire knowledge of on-line tools available to plan sponsors and ensure their functionality.
Awareness of Greenleaf Trust's mission and core values and application of the values and mission when interacting with clients.
Learn and maintain a basic understanding and knowledge of investment management concepts, familiarity with different types of investments, and basic retirement and financial planning concepts.
Develop a basic understanding of retirement plan documents, technical rules and regulations and government reporting requirements.
Provide ideas and thoughts for process improvement and innovation.
Participate as an impactful member of assigned workgroups and projects as assigned.
All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum one-year professional office experience or equivalent education and experience.

Security Responsibilities
Employees are required to comply with all information and physical security policies and procedures.
