Greenpoint Fish Lobster Co. – the popular sustainable seafood restaurant, raw bar, and retail market - is looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic leader to oversee its original location in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The position is full-time with lots of room for growth. Applicants should have at least two years of managerial experience, be team-oriented, be firm but empathetic, and show an interest in seafood and wine. Candidates should also be comfortable working in a fast paced and high-volume food service environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Hiring, training, and scheduling staff
Inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of beer and wine
Maintaining DOH compliance
Collaborating with the chef to ensure smooth operations
Cultivating loyal customers with warm customer service
Applicants are required to have their NYC Food Handler’s Certificate. Spanish language skills are a bonus but not required.
