Maintenance Director - Greens at Derby

Summary

We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Director for our beautiful community, The Greens at Derby.

The Maintenance Director is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations at our property. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our residents have a safe and well maintained community to enjoy, including both their apartments, as well as our various amenities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all aspects of the Maintenance Department, including but not limited to: budgeting, scheduling, training, safety, compliance, and quality control
• Review maintenance requests from residents and responding in a timely manner, prioritizing urgent repairs and communicating with residents throughout the process
• Coordinate communication between management and staff regarding the status of maintenance projects
• Inspect buildings for signs of structural damage or other issues that could lead to safety problems
• Coordinate with contractors to complete preventative maintenance

Skills and Qualifications

• Maintenance management experience (5 years preferred)
• Working knowledge of building codes, OSHA regulations, and safety standards
• Strong organization and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, facility management, or a similar field is preferred
• Must live on-site (call for details on apartment rent discount)
