JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of the Office Manager position is to manage the daily and monthly activity reports for the Greensboro Country Club's member charges, golf shop charges and all other financial transactions involved in the golf operations for both the Irving Park and the Farm golf shops. The Office Manager will process invoices for the Club and the golf shop and ensure the invoices for the golf shop are prepared for payment. Inventory reports, profit and loss reports, assets and liabilities statements, QuickBooks applications, correspondence, minor phone assistance and other small tasks are a part of the responsibilities of the Office Manager.
- ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- General ledger analysis with debit and credit applications.
- Bank reconciliation
- Sales and use tax reports
- Daily sales reports from POS Sales program and experience with POS
- Inventory management through POS system
- Assist Club Accounting Department with balancing of reports
- Monthly sales and activity reports.
- Preparation of profit and loss statements.
- Receiving and pricing of merchandise items for inventory.
- Limited phone tasks.
- Assist with Open-to-Buy for the golf shop inventory merchandise orders
- Assist in responsibilities with member services in the golf operation and at registration desk.
- Some supervision and monitoring of starting time schedule in coordination with member play, tournaments, guest play, and other activities as demand dictates.
- Ensure charges for guest fees and cart rental fees are correctly applied.
- Assist Director of Golf to coordinate with food and beverage department the accompanying activities with the golf events when practical.

- REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, POS experience.
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail and proper record keeping methods.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and provide various reports on a timely basis.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; good writing and use of the English language.
- Excellent computer skills to include various software.
- Ability to communicate with all levels.
- Limited knowledge of golf and the application in tournament conditions.
- MIINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma.
- At least 5 years' experience as a bookkeeper/accountant position.
- Excellent personality and interpersonal skills.
- REPORTS TO: Director of Golf (or Head Golf Professional in the absence of Director of Golf)
