GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

In this challenging role, you will be supporting the EDCT - Economic Dev & Corp department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.

  • Manage operations of the Culinary Hospitality Innovation Center, including resources allocations, adjunct faculty, and venue rentals.
  • Plans, designs and delivers culinary programs aimed at meeting workforce and community needs.
  • Provide Strategic Planning and Scheduling of facility, faculty and staff.
  • Collaborate with academic colleagues to ensure clear pathways and stackable credentials are developed.
  • Develop and manage department budget. Analyze revenue streams, contact hours and operating margins for classes. Maintains Cost effectiveness.
  • Directs, manages and evaluates employees. Ensure compliance with DHEC, state and federal laws, policies and procedures.
  • Develops innovative techniques for marketing public offerings and customized programming;
  • Works collaboratively with EDCT marketing to market, advertise and promote offerings and venue rentals. Engages community stakeholders through developing an advisory board and engaging the community, business and industry.
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree and related training development program experience.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of culinary and hospitality programming and development. Expert in adult learning principles and expertise in program development, marketing, sales and event planning. Ability to direct, supervise and advise staff members. Excellent communication skills. Minimum 3 years experience in development and delivery of culinary and/or hospitality training programs.
