What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mowing lawns / chemical applicator position at Greenway Lawn Care?
Mowing Laborer / Chemical Applicator
We at Greenway Lawn Care have an opening for full time . The mowing portion will be walk mowing with self propelled lawn mowers. Also will be using riding john deere zero turn mowers. We will also be doing some landscaping and irrigation system installs.
Chemical applicator will be required to have or be able to get an Iowa pesticide license 3T. This person will be spraying liquid and also granular applications. Will be doing this most days but will also be asked to help with other jobs as well.
Mowing:
Must have valid driver license
18 yrs old or older
be able to lift at least 75lbs
Plus: Have experience running zero turn mowers
Chemical Applicator:
Must have valid driver license.
Ability to walk up to 10 miles pulling a hose applying chemicals
Must have or be able to get certified pesticide license
Plus: Have experience chemical application yards
