We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Nursing Supervisor for our Littleton location.
This opportunity is full-time (5 days per week, plus occasional Saturdays).
SUMMARY
Provides day-to-day management of clinical staff at assigned location; collaborates with COO, physicians, and front office staff; ensures patient & family satisfaction and adherence to policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Provide leadership to nursing staff at assigned location and set a standard for nursing at Greenwood Pediatrics
· Supervise patient care provided by nursing staff at assigned clinical site (RN’s, LPN’s, MA’s) through direct and indirect monitoring of interactions with patients, families, and coworkers. Evaluate care and ensure patient satisfaction
· Manage staffing needs at assigned clinical site, including preparation of monthly work schedules for nursing staff
· Collaborate with Nursing Manager and COO to resolve any nursing staff concerns/issues at assigned clinical site in a timely manner
· Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations at assigned clinical site (including, but not limited to; VFC, OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA)
· Perform nursing duties as outlined in registered nurse job description
· Work collaboratively with providers and front and back-office staff to create a cohesive work environment
· Provide input on development and modification of standards of care, policies, and procedures
· Assist staff at assigned clinical site in development of problem-solving and decision-making skills
· Interview, hire, and ensure training of new nursing staff. Provide coaching, guidance and discipline to improve staff performance. Conduct disciplinary actions and hold direct reports accountable for performance and behavior. Maintain confidentiality at all times regarding human resource matters
· Conduct initial and annual performance evaluations. Set goals and provide professional growth opportunities
· Maintain inventory of medical supplies at assigned site in a cost-effective manner
· Maintain adequate vaccine supply at assigned clinical site, including VFC vaccines
· Maintain professional knowledge and clinical skills by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing professional networks
· Maintain confidentiality related to employees and patient information
· Other duties and projects, as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for supervising nursing staff at assigned clinical site. Previous supervision/management/leadership experience is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Registered Nurse, licensed by the Colorado State Board of Nursing; previous management/leadership experience required; BLS for healthcare providers/CPR certification required; pediatric experience strongly preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Must demonstrate excellent customer service abilities, including effective listening skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
REASONING ABILITY
Must demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Detail oriented with ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks & switch tasks frequently
- Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations

Occupational hazards may include extreme to unsteady or falling patients- in the course of transferring a patient, RN may encounter a patient who falls or loses balance, causing him/her to bear the full weight of a patient or fall with him/her. With pediatric patients, required to safely and appropriately restrain patients for safe and effective care/treatment.
