Position Summary:

Sunrise Global Marketing (Greenworks) is looking for a full time Finance Analyst to further grow its Greenworks brand.  This position will play an active role in partnering with the business to assess margin, cost/volume profit, product costing and pricing, providing standard monthly and ad hoc reporting, and budgeting/forecasting support.  This position may also play a small role in the general accounting process, assisting with month-end close related tasks, and performing journal entries and reconciliations.  This candidate must be able to remain at a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods of time, have the dexterity required to operate a computer keyboard and mouse, and be able to transport themselves to/from the office daily. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Prepare Proforma Financial Statements to analyze pricing and margin at a highly detailed level.
• Accurately cost inventoriable product and analyze variances to standard.
• Accrue, track, report, investigate, and reclass Sales Allowance Expenses (Returns, Discounts, Chargebacks, etc.)
• Correct issues in orders, billing, invoice, credit memo documents
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute standard cadence and ad hoc financial reports based on actual, budgeted, or forecasted performance.
• Gather complete documentation/support to be provided to the external auditors as needed.
• Complete month-end journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and reconciliations.
• Assist in the budgeting & forecasting process.
• Partner with cross functional teams to measure and improve company KPI’s.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA certifications preferred.
• 3 years of accounting or finance related work experience
