Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and possess a range of skills related to farm operations. Hours per week range from 40-70 during the growing season. December- February is the slowest season with a work week of no more than 40 hours. One week paid vacation, preferably during slower months. Housing is provided with utilities paid for. The home is a four bedroom, one and a half bathrooms, with a heated two car garage. Pets and small livestock are allowed with plenty of storage and space in the outbuildings. A farm truck is provided for transportation to and from work. One hour east of Billings, the largest city in Montana, Hysham is located along the Yellowstone River and is ideal for anyone with a love for the outdoors. Hunting opportunities are provided to employees for elk, deer, pheasants, sharp-tail grouse, waterfowl, turkeys, doves, and coyotes. A stipend for cell phones is also included.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with operations including planting, spraying, irrigating, pollinating, and harvesting crops.
- Safely and efficiently operate and maintain farm equipment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Mechanical aptitude for operating and maintaining farm machinery.
- A positive and kind disposition.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
