Gregor Industries Inc. is a General Contractor, specializing in commercial construction seeking skilled and experienced Painters to join our team to service several areas in New York, New Jersey. the ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paints, varnishes, and other finishes to enhance and protect various structures. the construction painter will work on commercial projects, collaborating with the construction team to achieve high quality results.

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks or holes.
- Select and mix paints to match colors and achieve desired finishes.
- Apply paints, varnishes, and coating using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment during all tasks.
- Collaborate with construction professionals to coordinate painting schedules.
- Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment.
- Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner, including loading transporting and delivering material to job sites.
- Maintain company material handling equipment in safe and good working conditions.
- Record the material amount or count received and circulated.
- Inspect material upon delivery to the warehouse to identify any damages.
- Load and unload material to and from job sites.
- Operate manual material handling equipment such as hand jacks and wheeled carts safely.
- Lift and carry material as needed.
- Evenings and weekends are required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in painting or relevant field is a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using painting tools and equipment.
- A valid driver's license
- Have your own reliable vehicle
- Owning basic hand tools
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Must be able to work in the US.
- Must be diligent, savvy, and to be able to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- Must be able to work in NYC, NJ.
- Ideal candidates have excellent communication skills, a passion for safety and quality and a strong drive to apply these traits to any given project. They also will be proficient in reading and writing emails and reports.

- A clean and presentable appearance is mandatory and must be flexible with hours and working nights and weekends.
- Keep clean, safe and organized.
- Maintain a clean driving record and abide by all transportation laws.
- Be mindful of parking work vehicles when on the job site to avoid penalties.
Requirements include:
- Proven experience as a construction painter in commercial projects.
- In- depth knowledge of painting materials, techniques, and color matching.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and projects specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work.
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within a construction team.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to safety guidelines.
