Shift: Night-shift
6pm-12am; 12am-6am
Monday - Friday
We are currently seeking Packers to join our team in Pittston TWP, Pennsylvania.
This position is essential to maintaining smooth production operations at our manufacturing plant.
This position provides technical capability within the specific department, with regards process optimization, product specifications and technical decision making. The decorations department is responsible for the production of the end product, from plain to decorated product with cardboard wrapping
You will load and changeover machinery, and keep machines running smoothly; communicating any problems that arise to supervisors in a timely manner.
Main Responsibilities
- Work with high-speed machines daily
- Unload undecorated cups onto jacobs ladder
- Machine cleaning Daily/Weekly/PM
- Assist technician and supervisor with product line clearances
- Make boxes, insert plastic bags into boxes
- Pack boxes with finished product
- Place packed boxes on pallets
- Use hand trucks to move pallets
- Quality-Attention to detail is critical for these positions
- Perform quality checks on finished/unfinished products before packaging
- Keep work area neat and clean to ensure product does not become contaminated
- Know all safety rules, regulations, and company policies.
- Perform other duties assigned
Required Skills
- Previous experience in a high speed/fast paced environment
- Frequently lift up to 35lbs. on continuous basis (Weight of boxes will depend on assigned technology)
- Regularly push or pull a pallet
- Regularly required to stand for long periods
- Work near moving mechanical parts
