Position Summary

The Assistant Field Superintendent (AFS) will represent WLB, LLC & Greystone Properties, LLC to the highest levels. The main responsibility of the AFS is to provide a finished product to the levels set forth by the Project Manager and Construction Superintendent. These levels will be achieved performing hands on duties for punchout, as well as managing subcontractors to complete their work in an accurate & timely manner. The AFS is to represent, promote and protect the interests of Greystone Properties, LLC/WLB, LLC and/or other related parties in all matters. The AFS reports directly to Construction Superintendent.

Duties and Responsibilities (Other Duties May Be Assigned)

  • Report directly to Construction Superintendent
  • Any field duties Construction Superintendent may request
  • Confirm all framing dimensions and correct placement of members.
  • Confirm all MEP's are installed per plans and without conflicts in relation to other subs and per code
  • Confirm all dimensions concerning cabinets
  • Work with subs to maintain a safe job site
  • Read subcontractor's scope of work prior to work starting
  • Make sure subcontractors are using proper materials and installation practices
  • Report any plan discrepancies to Construction Superintendent
  • Be proactive in your planning, not reactive
  • Confirm all materials are being installed in the correct sequence, as to eliminate possible construction defect in the future.
  • All other duties Construction Superintendent may ask you to perform.
  • During all stages of construction, the AS will physically preform duties to keep the job moving forward
    • This position requires physical labor to be performed
  • Physically perform all punchout duties to achieve level of finish desired
  • Physically perform tasks such as carpentry, finish carpentry, paint, drywall repairs and touch ups.
  • Work under the direction of Construction Superintendent
  • Manage completion of punch list with subcontractors
  • Manage, perform, and coordinate warranty work with Leasing office and subcontractors
  • Opening and Closing jobsite
  • Position requires a minimum of 50 hours per week including Saturday attendance and one entire weekend out of every four weekends
