We are seeking a Cash Management Associateto join the Corporate Accounting Team at Greystone’s headquarters in the New York City area. This person will support transactional banking needs across the various business lines and ensure all Greystone entities nationwide will have adequate liquidity to conduct business.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Cash Management and Treasury functions

  • Assist with standard procedures to improve efficiency in cash collections, funds transfers, cash disbursements, and internal controls

  • Oversee and assist with automation projects

  • Review and submission of documentation for opening new bank accounts

  • Serve as backup for banking related functions such as entitlements, internal requests, ACH/Positive Pay exceptions, etc.

  • Liaise with banks to address any account issues and queries

  • Review and release cash disbursements in accordance with internal control guidelines

  • Process grant requests in AP workflow and coordinate approval and funding

  • Liaise with staff in Israel office to reflect approval of grants and their payments in SalesForce

  • Maintain relevant master banking files

  • Prepare Cash Receipts and Cash Disbursements in Business Central (Accounting software)

  • Prepare set of books for the private Foundation

  • Manage check logging process

  • Disseminate various Concur reports to Business Leaders relating to their teams’ expenditures

  • Review Amex delinquency report and contact employees, as needed

  • Assist in compiling the monthly financial dashboard for Management

  • Special projects as required


Experience, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • 5 years of Treasury/ Corporate Finance and/or Accounting experience

  • Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting a must

  • Must have a strong work ethic and team player mentality

  • Proactive in identifying and resolving issues

  • Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills

  • Must be detail oriented

  • Experience with banking platforms

  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills

  • Must be highly self-motivated pursuing continuous improvement to develop a comprehensive understanding of the business

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Must be effective communicator with all levels of employees, including senior management

  • Documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills

  • Ability to work independently and with a team with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

  • Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat

Greystone offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000/year.The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hiredcandidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
