Job Description:

A successful candidate for Grid4’s Product Manager position will work within the broader marketing team and will be responsible for messaging the unique value of our products and services, as well as product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. You’ll bring ideas about how we can turn product proof points into meaningful marketing content that drives new user adoption.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
- Assist with strategic initiatives and programs to drive new customer adoption and help existing customers get more value out of our products based on feedback
- Develop strategic plans, demonstrating a deep understanding of the competitive marketplace and industry trends
- Deliver compelling messaging that communicates the value of products and services
- Support the ongoing growth and evolution of products and services
- Provide management with analyses and reports, responding to questions and requests
- Deliver promotional plans that are consistent with product line strategy and messaging
- Responsible for owning service quoting tools and price books
- Work closely with Grid4’s marketing team to successfully launch new products and product updates
- Manage and build relationships with vendors
- Present product demos for prospective customers or sales partners
- Develop and manage all aspects of a yearly strategic product roadmap
- Other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications, skills, and knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- At least 5 years of product marketing experience
- Previous IT or Telecommunications industry experience is a plus
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to develop product/marketing strategies, effectively communicating recommendations to executive management
- Ability to pick up cross functional knowledge (engineering, design, marketing, sales, finance)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Team player who collaborates well with others
- Curiosity to keep up with emerging trends and best practices; insatiable need to understand “what and why”
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Love to be in front of an audience and meet new people
