We’re looking for an experienced back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients.
As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver solutions. Using your software engineering experience, you’ll work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.

You Have
- 3 years of experience in software development using basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in software engineering or 7 years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
- DOD Approved 8570 Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT-II) Certification, including CCNA Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, CND, or SSCP
- Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) Certification
- Experience with programming languages, including Ruby, Python, C#, Java, or PowerShell
- Experience with working on multiple OS platforms, including Linux and Window
- DOD Approved 8570 Information Assurance Technician Level III (IAT-III) Certification, including CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, and CCSP
- Army Approved 8570 Computer Environment Certification for Windows or Linux
