Environmental Services Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Environmental Operations Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Environmental Services, Laundry, Grounds/Landscaping, Distribution, Shuttle, and Valet Services ensuring timely movement of patients, supplies, equipment, specimens and vehicles. Maintains and places orders for patient supplies and equipment. Supervise and coordinate the work activities of all assigned employees in the Environmental Services Department, to ensure a clean, orderly, and attractive environment.

Duties:

• Responsible for overseeing the daily work activities of Environmental Services staff to ensure that the Hospital cleanliness standards are maintained. Assigns work based on departmental needs.
• Is knowledgeable about Departmental responsibilities relating to Environmental, Grounds/Landscaping, Linen and laundry, Distribution, Shuttle, and Valet Services.
• Maintains responsibility for attendance/reliability to ensure that the Hospital is operated in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Contributes to the mission of the Organization by supporting the Employee Philosophy, Planetree Model of Care, and organizational goals.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in Environmental Services and at least 4 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare environment. Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma.

- Strong customer service experience
- Ability to clean and sanitize hospital environments effectively
- Proficiency in floor care techniques and maintenance
- Strong attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.42 - $24.00 per hour
