What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global HEOR Fellow position at Grifols?

Summary:
A one-year, paid Global HEOR/RWE Fellowship program during which the full-time GHEOR/RWE employee will gain knowledge of and proficiency in Health Economics and Outcomes Research and Real World Evidence generation in the biopharmaceutical arena. At 6-month increments, the company will evaluate the success of the employee and provide clear feedback for continuation/improvement of the program as well as fine tuning the program to the employees goals and ambitions. At the conclusion of the program the employee will gain a broad understanding of the biopharm industry and the work conducted by a GHEOR group to support the needs within a typical biopharm company. Successful employees are eligible to be hired into the Global HEOR/RWE team at the completion of the fellowship.
Primary responsibilities for role:
Structure
- Month 1 – 6
- One consistent disease area manager will provide guidance and mentorship to the fellow. This manager will meet periodically with the fellow to provide continual feedback and document observations, and discuss current projects, adives and make suggestions, and assign new projects.
- The GHEOR fellow will work on projects within a chosen disease area/s together with researchers within GHEOR. Projects will include typical HEOR/RWE studies within the Biopharm industry aligned with many other stakeholders within the company.The fellow will support current projects and begin to design, manage, and report on those and new studies. The individual will also publish abstracts and manuscripts related to their HEOR work.
- Month 6-12
- The GHEOR fellow will continue to work on projects within their current disease area and might expand to other disease areas with researchers within the GHEOR/RWE team. More and more responsibilities and projects will be added to their work load. Fellows will assist in all publication needs of GHEOR research and is likely to travel and attend a couple of Conferences to present said data or learn more about specific disease areas they currently support.
- Month 12
- Final project / presentation to members of the GHEOR team as well as other relevant stakeholders within the company
- Final review will be conducted by area manager and GHEOR head.
Additional Responsibilities:
Minimal travel to attend conferences to present HEOR data
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:
PharmD graduate from accredited school. Clinical Certification and/or previous HEOR experience preferred
Experience:
Minimal to no experience necessary
Equivalency:
Pharm D or other relevant Doctorate or Masters degree in the Medical/Health Care field required
Occupational Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Frequently walks. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 30lbs. Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States. Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken English words and sentences. Interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups.
