What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector 3 position at Grifols?
Summary:
Responsible for inspecting incoming raw materials and finished components and devices to ensure conformance with Quality specifications.
Primary responsibilities for role:
- All duties of Level II
- Inspects raw materials, components and finished devices.
- Maintains Inspection records
- Samples material for QC testing
- Provide guidance to Quality Inspectors performing incoming raw materials, component & finished device inspections.
- Ensure product compliance.
- Schedule & prioritize department workload & activities in conjunction with Supply Chanin and Manufacturing.
- Recommend methods for improving productivity, quality & safety.
- Ensure compliance with working procedures & government agency regulations.
- Create new documents and/or revise existing documentation. Reviews CCRs.
- Trains new & temporary employees.
- Reviews and checks completed documents for final Quality approval.
- Perform laboratory maintenance per written protocols.
- Perform periodic troubleshooting & special assignment duties.
- Interact/coordinate with and support other departments.
- Expedited material request completion
- Provide metrics as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of GMP/QSR requirements.
Experience with cGMP and ISO guidelines.
Working knowledge of basic measurement devices.
Advanced computer skills.
ASQ Certification as a CMI desired. Interpersonal Skills
Problem Solving skills
Troubleshooting skills
Education:
Typically requires High school degree
Experience:
4 -6 years related experience OR
AA and 2 - 4 years related experience.
Equivalency:
Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Example: If a job level typically requires an Associates Degree plus 2 years of experience, an equivalent could include 4 years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree.
Occupational Demands:
May occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise manipulate objects up to 25 pounds in weight, and/or lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise manipulate objects up to 10 pounds in weight frequently or continuously.
