The Operations Manager supports janitorial cleaning services to commercial businesses and property management companies including but not limited to churches, home builders, construction companies and government organizations. The Operations Manager is a role model for work habits for timelines and quality assurance.

Operations Manager’s Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of Operations Staff, Site Supervisors, Project Team, and cleaning technicians
  • Reporting daily to Senior Management to define issues
  • Managing supplies and staff for all locations
  • Support interview and hiring processes for new staff with Office Manager/Trainer/Supervisor
  • Support/resolve any customer issues
  • Managing Supplies at each job site/project Making sure supplies are used correctly and provided to the customers as required by the contract.
  • Performing spot checks (quality control inspections) for each location
  • Maintain adequate staff at all job sites
  • Support growth of the Company by building relationships with new or potential customers.
  • Independently ensure all jobs/projects are performed efficiently and profitably
  • Conducting periodic performance reviews for Regional Site Supervisors.
  • Make sure all cleaning equipment is in good working order
  • Support weekly status reports to the Senior Management on customer satisfaction and issues on performance as required.
  • Must stay current with national and local cleaning standards and rates per square foot

Requirements

  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Should have at least 3 years’ janitorial experience managing staff
  • Working knowledge of MS OFFICE 365 including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

Maintain a valid N.C. Drivers’ License and up-to-date auto insurance
