What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Intern position at Grindr?

At Grindr, the IT team is a dynamic, fast paced team who has a passion for the latest technologies and a willingness to help others across the organization. Under the support and guidance of Grindr’s Information IT & Security Manager, the IT Intern will have the opportunity to either work remotely or out of Grindr’s headquarters in West Hollywood and learn about the technical aspects of our offices, provide support to in-office and remote employees, and liaise with our external vendors.
What’s the role?
- Support the IT department with new hire onboarding, resolving tickets, and documentation
- Provide Grindr employees with remote technical assistance on computer software, systems, and hardware
- Receive hands on guidance and training on IT processes and systems
- Part time or Full time opportunity
- To run June-August, 2022

- Experience working helpdesk as part of a team in a corporate Mac environment.
- Experience administering corporate IT SaaS systems (Gmail, Onelogin, Slack, Zoom, 1Password to name a few)
- Development of communication, prioritization, problem solving, and people skills
- A final project where you will set up your own domain, website, and email.
