Job Description:
7 years of experience in information security/information assurance (IA). Experienced in security administration, evaluation of security/information assurance product capabilities, product assessment, and policy development.
Gathers and organizes technical information about IT infrastructure, and existing security / IA products. Assists in developing security / IA policies, procedures, and standards. Responsibilities include working with the customer to minimize risks and assess and secure networks. Evaluates and recommend security products for various platforms and initiatives. May act as a project leader and provide technical leadership and guidance.
General experience needed for all personnel:
a. Demonstrated experience in testing technical controls in Cisco networks, Windows and Linux/UNIX
operating systems, Oracle databases, and complex applications, including BMS Systems.
b. Knowledge of NIST Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes and the NIST 800-53 family of
controls.
c. Contractor must have a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and Certified Information
Systems Auditor members on the assessment team.
d. Familiarity with Building Management Systems.
e. Knowledge of information technology (IT) networked systems as applied towards a BMS.
f. Familiarity with other federal mandates governing the security of building infrastructure controls.
