What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Security position at Ground Round Grill & Bar?
The Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel is seeking an individual to work security for the hotel and convention center during evening events. This is a very part-time position. The purpose of this position is to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests, staff and property during busy event nights. $150 bonus after 90-days!
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete foot patrols inside hotel and convention center and outside perimeters of the buildings
- Check and secure all internal and external doors
- Be observant and report all suspicious activities
- Handle guest and staff concerns effectively in a timely manner with professionalism
- Assist with late night minor maintenance issues
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to work overnight and on weekends
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good judgement and decision making skills
- Ability to respond to issues and resolve conflicts in a professional manner
- Ability to maintain a pleasant personality and have excellent customer-service skills
- Ability to speak and understand English well
- Ability to use office equipment and a good working knowledge of computers
