Job Description

Groundworks is seeking a full-time, Data Analyst to join our growth marketing team.

As a Marketing Data Analyst at Groundworks, you will work closely with key stakeholders to provide data-driven guidance and recommendations to optimize overall growth performance.  You will be responsible for curation and manipulation of datasets as well as data analysis and algorithm design. Examples of projects you would work on include, but are not limited to: build and implement tools and models to incrementally measure and understand the customer journey to fulfill funnel gaps and optimize channel investments.

This position requires an entrepreneurial spirit that embraces forward-thinking to innovate and leverage data and technology. Granularity is crucial as you will be required to analyze data in great depth to recommend strategies and tactics for moving accounts forward effectively.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide necessary insights to drive strategic analytical projects and insights to influence and support Groundworks Affiliate and Partnership initiatives
• Perform in-depth funnel analysis to drive insights on attribution, causation, and incremental lift
• Choose accurate metrics for tracking, measuring, optimizing, improving campaigns, and uncover new opportunities to grow existing and new Affiliates.
• Collaborate with GW Marketing and IT data scientists to develop and refine marketing models for long term success
• Assist in the standardization for data collection procedures to generate information that is relevant for building analytic systems
• Maintain and develop reports and provide insights behind the data to help Affiliates and Business Development teams to be effective.
• Implement and analyze A/B or Multivariate Tests to provide measurable insights on the test data.
• Present findings to senior management to drive business and marketing decisions.

Qualifications

• BS in Marketing, Business Analysis, Statistics, Engineering, Math, Economics or equivalent experience. Masters a plus
• Excellent programming skills in Python, Hive or R. Advanced SQL is a plus
• 2 years experience in analytics and databases. Affiliates Analytics experience is a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask on multiple simultaneous projects
• Advanced Excel skills (i.e., pivot tables, XLOOKUPS, If/Then)
• A highly analytical mind with a demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses
• Experience with Conversion Rate Optimization
• Certification in AdWords and Bing preferred
• Experience with A/B testing tools preferred
