The overall objective for our Central Talent Acquisition hub is to identify and attract remarkable talent for the GroupM agencies in North America and you'll be a part of that team.
Our approach to talent acquisition brings a mindset and a toolset which is more akin to how a consumer goods company markets to customers and prospects. We are looking to target the best talent for our business and want them to see the impeccable value in a career at GroupM.
Reporting
This role reports to the Talent Practice Lead with a dotted line into the Director, Talent Acquisition. Our Practices include Search and Social Media, Analytics, Programmatic/Ad-Tech, and Core.

Measures of success
3 Months
Study company and industry information to be appropriately prepared to execute and pitch opportunities to potential hires:
- Identify and target companies, universities, individuals and 'nodes' through reference materials and online services.
- Start to anticipate needs in the business through regular, consultative dialogue with internal clients. Participate actively in TA/HR huddles and our online communities in Microsoft Teams.
- Ensure our Talent TA Team always has a pipeline of top talent in their business area/discipline.
6 Months
You will have participated in at least 1 TA program. Showing initiatives and driving our key pillars of Accountability, Community, Velocity, Content, and Competition.
- Build your industry knowledge expert by staying ahead of trends and developments in business and the talent market through seminars, conferences and events information.
- Achieve benchmark or above scores from your clients in Talent Acquisition.
- Owning positions from a variety of agencies within the network and being the hiring manager’s right hand when it comes to talent and best practices #besties4life
12 Months
At this time, you've established a deep understanding of the digital and offline communications landscape in the North America region.
- Mastered and develop subject matter expertise on Jobvite™ our social recruiting platform. This is an enterprise-strength, mobile-ready ATS with referral, video and CRM modules.
- Own, manage and bring to bear specialty projects in relation to online social channels and job boards for employer branding. Assist with content concepts and execution for rich media assets [e.g. Video] to ensure we are discoverable in these channels
Responsibilities of the role
- Implement the talent acquisition strategy. This will involve lots of getting to know your audience and what drives their career decisions.
- You will provide effective recruitment advice, guidance, and solutions to managers, group-wide
- Own projects in the areas of talent mapping, academic program research/search, reporting and analysis, and high-volume, high-octane recruiting
- Ensure everyone has a positive experience at every touch-point in the recruiting cycle.
- Co-create, organize and oversee the production of quality, rich media content assets
What you will need
2-4 years of work experience in one or more of the following jobs:
Investigative Journalist (finance, tech or advertising)
Recruitment (plus if you have handled high volume recruitment)
- You’ll have a high level of comfort with, and interest in technology
- You’ll showcase a natural gift for grasping concepts quickly and making good judgments
- Ability to work on own initiative; pre-emptive and proactive; constantly thinking ahead; demonstrating a hands-on and highly organized approach to all tasks
- Collaborative and astute - able to build trust and respect within our network
