SUMMARY: The Graphic Designer has two primary responsibilities; creating new art work and processing print jobs for the presses.

Responsibilities
- Understand company Mission, Vision, and Values and be an ambassador of MVV.
- Prepare art files for production.
- Create new art work and prepare proofs for customers as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices, constantly looking for and implementing process improvements with prepress and preflight functions.
- Pre-flighting, imposition and color matching/optimization.
- Build and maintain file organization on servers, databases, and job folders.
- Support production team to resolve printing issues.
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, patient attitude and professional composure.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and MS Office
- Ability to problem solve and work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience working with HP Indigo Printers, HP SmartStream, HP PrintOS
- Experience with pre press
- Experience with Variable Data Printing
- Experience with plate production and design
