Overview:
Growing IQ in Hawaii is seeking a creative and dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team to launch our new Geometry and Algebra classes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various subjects and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of students
- Work with our Director to bring over curriculum developed to bring a unique style of learning in the fields of geometry and algebra
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
Experience:
- Previous experience in teaching or tutoring preferred
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Strong knowledge of Math (including Geometry and Algebra)
- Ability to calculate, dissect complex topics, and proofread educational materials

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
