What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor position at Growing Places?
Growing Places is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, loving person to join our summer camp program. Camp Cowabunga is a day camp for children ages 5yrs-12yrs and runs July 1st through August 23rd. Campers enjoy weekly field trips, water play, fun weekly themes, lots of outdoor play, and much more!
Duties
General supervision of children
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for staff and children
Work as part of a team to accomplish daily tasks
Partcipate in activities with children
Uphold NH licensing requirements to ensure quality of the program
Requirements
Must be 18 years or older
3 credits in ECE or 1 year experience working with school age children
High school diploma or equivilant
Must pass a background check
CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified
Nice To Haves
Associates degree in education, recreation or other related field of study
Water safety or life guard certified
Benefits
Desirable work schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8-4:30
Salary : $12 - $15
