PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of automations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Design and develop RPA solutions to meet defined business requirements according to standard design principles and best practices.
- Provide technical direction on design considerations, including performance, scalability, reusability, maintainability, and auditability.
- Collaborate with end users and process analysts in design, development, documentation, testing and maintenance of automation projects across the organization.
- Recommend, follow, and enforce RPA development principles, standards, and best practices to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence with governance framework.
- Support and mentor other developers. Participate in demos, code reviews, and recommend ideas for continuous project improvement.
- Contribute to business process analyses by challenging current processes, educating on automation technologies and opportunities, and driving an innovation mindset.
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommend innovations that enhance operations.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
- Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Normally requires a college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or the equivalent thereof and a minimum of 2 years of development experience with RPA software.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional advanced solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to communicate technical aspects of the automation to end users and relevant stakeholders.
- Prefer at least 3 years of experience in .Net, or VB/VBA, and PowerShell.
- Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
- Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
