Grown Rogue Unlimited is seeking a full-time Financial Analyst to join our team!

As a Financial Analyst with Grown Rogue, you will be responsible for providing in-depth analysis of key metrics utilized by our company, facilitating comparative assessments between various entities. Your role will involve preparing reports, schedules, and analyses to aid the finance team in decision-making processes. Additionally, you will develop reports and analyses to assess financial and operational outcomes, enabling stakeholders to leverage data effectively for performance enhancement. Your duties will extend to maintaining meticulous records, supporting data, and assisting in the preparation of internal comparison and feasibility studies.

The ideal candidate brings strategic thinking and detailed analytics in all financial aspects with a strong emphasis on costing, inventory management and muti-divisional entities. The candidate also has an accomplished strength working in a team environment and a willingness to participate in team decision-making. This includes meeting and collaborating with various levels of management. Flexibility and a readiness to fulfill any other assigned duties or requirements will be integral to your success in this role.

Duties and responsibilities:

Data-Driven Insights:

• Identify bottlenecks, efficiencies, and growth opportunities via data analysis.
• Visualize complex data for strategic insights.
• Analyze performance, generate, and communicate business insights.
• Create and maintain complex models in Excel, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Perform variance analysis to compare actual results to budget and forecasts.

Informed Advisory:

• Provide proactive insights to colleagues and local leadership.
• Collaborate with peers, internationally and domestically, to build best-in-class data modeling and analytics.
• Stay up to date with market insights impacting our business.
• Create and maintain complex budget models in Excel, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Perform variance analysis to compare actual results to budgets and forecasts.

Planning & Control:

• Assist with annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Support development of strategic priorities.
• Develop and maintain KPI’s to drive accountability of key organizational priorities.

Advanced Analysis:

• Conduct complex analyses, generate actionable recommendations.
• Create and maintain complex budget models in Excel, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Perform variance analysis to compare actual results to budgets and forecasts.

Compliance & Development:

• Continually identify and drive process improvements.
• Uphold finance policies for compliance.
• Elevate professional standards in Finance.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Support audits and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Education And Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 4 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
• Power BI experience.
• Advanced skills with Excel, including VBA.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Cannabis industry accounting experience a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
